happiness Is What You Make It

WELCOME
Somewhere along the way, I became the empathetic listener for everyone else… while quietly searching for a place where I felt heard. Writing and creating art became that place for me. It helped me listen to my own loud brain.
Here, This is where I share the cozy (and sometimes messy) reflections on growth and the mindset shifts. From the CBT practices that helped me navigate through panic attacks to the meaningful of art-as-therapy, I’m opening up my heart to you. I’m obsessed with sharing the funny & encouraging sayings that hit home and the powerful quotes & stories of people who’ve faced the fire and kept their cool sparkle. Their strength is proof that no matter how loud the chaos gets, a strong heart always finds a way.
I only ever share what I genuinely love, personally tried, obsessed over, or would happily recommend to a friend.Lean in, get Comfortable, and Stay a while.
FRIEND IN ME - BE FRIEND TO YOURSELF
Let’s be real for a second: most of us are just trying to find the ‘mute’ button for the noise in our heads. We aren’t chasing some glossy, filtered version of perfection; we just want to feel grounded. We want habits that fuel our souls instead of draining our batteries. We just want to feel okay—and maybe, if we’re lucky, a little bit proud of how we’re showing up.
But here’s the plot twist no one warns you about: When life gets loud and the burnout kicks in, we reflexively reach outward. We crave a friend to hold us, a positive crowd to distract us, or a busy event to make us feel 'normal' again.
We keep looking for the 'Friend in Me' in everyone else, forgetting that the most important person we need to come home to is ourselves.

THE ART OF THE BOUNCE BACK
I’ve always been a 'feel-it-all' kind of person, I have so much respect for people who let themselves be messy, honest, and wildly human. I think that’s a superpower. There is such a raw beauty in being real with our emotions, that’s exactly where creativity finds its breath.
My own journey hasn’t always been a smooth ride, but it has been a beautifully supported one. Looking back, my heart is just full of gratitude for the souls I’ve met along the way. I especially carry the love of my incredible parents with me every day. Even though they’ve passed on, they remain the deep roots of my energy and the steady sunshine that helps me keep growing toward the light.
I’m so thankful for the 'bounce back.'
Today, I’m a firm believer in paying the goodness forward. As the saying goes, even when you have just a little, you still have enough to give. Sometimes, a small act of kindness is the greatest wealth we can share. Let’s keep blooming, keep giving, and keep being the kind of friend to ourselves that our hearts have always deserved.
